What colour shoes and accessories should I wear with a gold dress?
Nov 24, 2008 Author: Style Chex | Filed under: AccessoriesI am buying a burnished gold (not like gold lame, much duller) shift dress to wear to a wedding but have no idea what colour accessories, shoes or bag would go best, I was thinking black but then I changed my mind… I have no idea? Thanks

black would be good maybe black beads and dangly earrings , i was thinking silver but if your dress is gold u dont want to look too sparkly, so I would say black xx

Either try and match the colour of your dress, or go for the safe option, silver.At least with silver you’d be able to match it with other outfits.

i would not go with black… a deep purple would go really well and give you that regal classy look!

try to get a pic up, so that I can get a better idea
perhaps a comfortable pair of "dullish silver" a sort of not so bright would contrast very well, with a hand bag the same as the shoes.

sometimes gold is enough of metallic on its own so you could try no accessories and black shoes.
Wear black shoes because it will go well with a gold dress. Accessories could have a dab of gold in it, but black as the main colour.

i think brown goes better than black with gold, but black would be ok as well
Id say beige,gold, colours more close to the dress colour. Black would be my back up plan if i couldnt find something more sutible…
