How can I start on my future for fashion?

my own designs sometimes too. I always read fashion magazines like Teen Vogue. I love watching shows about fashion or about runway modeling. In the future I would kill to work in the fashion industry. I absolutely love shopping. I will try to go to fashion school when I grow up. If my parents accept that idea of course.

Every dream deserve a try. U are still a little girl and there is a whole life ahead. Try everything you can to learn about this field. You can read books of all categories to develop ur unique fashion sense. U can also learn a lot from everyday life. Such as how to match a necklace with a bracelet or how to show your style with a little earing.

its good that you started already so that you have loads and loads of practice. keep reading teen vogue i read it to. keep coming up with ideas. and maybe even try to get your hand on some material. but like they say practice makes perfect!!!! you just have to be the best that you can become.
Make a portfolio. Then go to college as you say and aply for jobs. Become an apprentice maybe.
You are like exactly the girl version of me! (im 14). first off, you want to keep reading and studying those magazines. i subscribe to a mens fashion magazine called GQ and i have read all of them MANY MANY times. also, keep drawing, at first stay with the flow of what normal deigners aredoing,but then make your designs your own! Do something you never really thought you would do. think outside the box, thats what fashion is about. remember. there is difference between style and fasion. Style is form fitting and looks great on you. but fashion is what the average joe might scoff at, Once you get to high school, there are many classes you can take. Fashion history and Design, clothing 1 &2. (i forget what his next one is called but basicly its Home ec. you learn how to sew and tailor and everything about clothes. Then, out of highschool, find a great college and it should but hard but fun work from there!
Take art classes in school and really pay attention. I know that it will feel as though what you are drawing has no reference to what you want to do. But the first lesson in design is, designing. And that means drawing. You want to be able to put together a portfolio of your own work. Then go to a university that offers fashion design classes.

1. Never stop trying if this is what you love. Its a cut throat industry, but never let that get you down.
2. start designing now, make a portfolio of your designs. Even if you hate them in a year it will be good to be able to look back and see how you have progressed.
3. Try. If you fail try again.
4. never stop knowing you can do this.

i want to be a fashion designer and my parents all ready said that i could go to school for bein a fashion designer. i hate to say but my parents give me wat ever i want and i know im spoiled i live in a 4 story house whitch is called a private house. i hate bein spoiled and they dont even punish me when i get in trouble. rite now im written on my laptop and with my dog on my bed when a maid is cleanin my livin room i try to help her clean and stuff but my parents dont let me. all i do is sit evryday in this big house but the only part i like bein spoiled is when i go shoppin. ima big fan of selena gomez and demi lovato. i went to see demi lovato live in concert 6 times and selena i have all her cds. at school every1 wants to be my friend just cuze im rich or something. my next door neighbor only has a 2 story house and thats why she always wants to come to my house. im really popular at school and i still get fun of everyday cuze my mom died when i was 6 years old and my dad works a lot so i barely see him. when i get to go shoppin i ask my maid to call my limo driver and he comes and gives me money my dad gave to him for me to spend on. he gives about wat like probably $800.00 i dont count but i know its a lot cuze it looks like a lot. the limo driver leaves and im there by myself in a big city with people. i go to lots of stores and when im finished i call my limo driver to come pick me up. he helps me with my bags to put in the car. n then if i want 2 go somewhere else then he takes me there or if i dont know then we just go home n then i go probably 2 the mall and buy stuff so yea im sorry am i tellin u to much sorryso yea i want to be a fashion designer so yea im bored so i think i will go shoppin.i live in california so yea im bored yea im gonna go shoppin so bye!
