How do I get prepared for hair styling and makeup artistry?

When I grow up, I want to be a makeup artist,hair dresser or an esthetician. Im only beginning high school so its not like I can go get a job at a salon or something..
What are some things I can do to get used to makeup and maybe get good at applying it and stuff?
I watch a lot of videos on applying makeup and doingg hair on youtube and such, so I can kind of study makeup and hair.
What else can I do ?

Make sure to also learn about hair dye and peoples allergies, You may be dyeing someones hair and it burns their scalp, or many other things, that they can sue you for. Trust me just let your friends know and they will want you to Practice on them also.

practice on yourself
try lots of different styles and find out what looks good
