   I think it is up to you! If you feel like it is time you should start! But you defintley shouldn’t judge someone because you don’t know why they put it on they might feel uncofterable with their face!

   I’ve seen a girl and she’s about 11 and she is wearing heavy makeup. I don’t think she looks that pretty with it on. She would be much prettier with it off. I think fifteen or sixteen is the right age but not much because girls think that the more makeup they put on the better they look but that’s not necessarily true. 15 or 16 is probably the right age.

   im thirteen, and i wear eyeliner alot. but thats it, ocasionally mascara.
   i think about 15 is a good age to start going full out with make up every day, too. i see 10 year old girls aplying lipgloss every 10 minutes, and it makes me kinda sick, honestly.

   age 6- lip smackers!! loved that stuff!~!!!
   age 11- lip smackers and clear mascara- that stuff did nothing but made me feel grown up
   age 12- black mascara a little pale greay liner and nude eyeshadows in sparse amounts.
   age 14- cover up for pimples, black mascara darker grey liner, coloured gloss crazy eyeshadow!

   I agree girls at 11 wearing a ton of makeup does make you judge them.

   I’m 12 and i wear mascara and lipgloss and shimmery eyeshadow. It is simple and looks pretty on me!

   i think your right 15 is the age to go right now i’m about to turn 15 and i noe that there is girls younger than me already doing it,i think make up serves for the reason jus to enhance your features not hide you face so not over doing it is a good idea plus those younger girls do it cuz older chick’s do it so dey wanna be like dem plus too much makeup make’s you loook cheap and sleezy

   at 13 i thinks girls should wear like lip gloss and stuff like that
   and after like 14 they should start putting on eyeshadow , eyeliner and all the other stuff

   i wear just blush and mascara

   yeah i hate those little girls who dont dress/act their age!

   i mean you dont have your child hood forever

   Yeah 15 should be the right age, but I got pressured into doing it and started to at 12 yrs old. i’m 13 right now and I don’t wear much makeup because I don’t have much time. But I do when going to the mall, but not trashy and clownish makeup, just invisible mascara, light green shadow and a plain, tasty lip gloss and I’m out.

    I think it is okay for girls to start using makeup when they start high school. Light makeup is prefer. I don’t think concealer and foundation are necessary…only use it when you need a cover-up (acne, bruises, skin discoloration, anything you’re uncomfortable with).

    never. make-up is horrible for your skin. but if you have to i’d say from age 13-15. but even then only mascara lipgloss, and maybe eyeshadow. girls don’t need all that junk on their faces.

    Anyways wearing too much makeup clogs your pores. Don’t listen to the non comedogenic labels it’ll fool you. Go by the saying less is more!

    Umm… i would say when they get to their early preteens, it all depends on the parents wishes though. I wouldn’t want my daughter to be walking around at 11 with make-up all over, but i would say around 13-15 to start wearing make up.

    I agree probably 15 or 16 if we are talking about full makeup. Girls start to look trampy if they wear too much too early

    18? I see 14 year olds waaaaaaaaaay overdoing it at school and then they remind me of bratz dolls. I don’t think you should ever do more than maybe blush and if you must eyeshadow,

    16. no child the age of 11 should be wearing any makeup. i would never let my child wear it at that age.

    well i’m 11 and i sometimes have a lot of pimples but i usually just put on some coverup and clear mascara..sometimes i’ll put on some eyeshdow and blush, but in very natural colors….i don’t wear lipstick but i wear lip gloss….. i have a big thick glitter eyeliner pencil that i wear but its basically eyeshadow…and i usually wear it only when i do plays cuz i do them in mi town

    Well, I’m 13 and I wear foundation/eyeliner/mascara/lipgloss. I only use each sparingly though. There are girls in my school who overdo it, and it really does look trashy. Any girl should be able to wear makeup when she’s ready… these people don’t realize that we have acne/skin problems, and while at their age, they don’t have them anymore. We have to cover up somehow! ;]

    I vote for eighteen. This will allow men to know who is of age, and who is not. It will also increase the number of ladies who look natural, and we will then not be so judgemental of "ugly" people.

    The first thing is they should never start wearing makeup until they learn to do it right so they don’t look trashy.

    Aside from that I would say 12 is too young but 14 might be ok.

    to be honest i think it depends on their looks, but i think 14 is the age. i’m 15 and i sometimes wear makeup, usually never to school mostly just to parties & shopping. i can’t really be bothered with putting on all that gunk at flippin 6 am.

    you dont need makeup in your age,all you need is to hidrate your skin. the earlier you wear makeup,the earlier you get wrinkles.
    Make up is not essential,what good is makeup if you cant have a good skin?;-)
    im 20 and i barely use makeup, just sometimes,when i go out and i use less as possible.

    all girls start REALLY wearing makeup around (depending on wether they’re in a middle school or not) eleven to thirteen years old =) That is the truth right there, don’t believe anybody that says it’s not. I’m serious.

    Edit: I think a good time for them to start would be around 15, yes, but that’s in a non-existent world.

    I started when i was about 12 but only eyeshadow when i was 13 i started wearing eyeliner and stuff.

    It depends, some girls who break out early, ( 10-11, like me ) feel self concious about their skin. My mom tought me how to cover-up my acne when I was ten, but I only use it when necessary. BUt the also took me to a dermetologist that told my what facial soap to use so I break out less. I wear eye make-up and blush for special occasions.
