   8th grade is good to star with eye shadow is o.k as long as you do light eye shadow not to dark cause then u will not look good even if u r in 8th, ur too young for it in, 9th u should star with the mascara and eye liner u will look good then.

   5th grade is too young for makeup you’re right to think wearing makeup in 5th is ridiculous because it is. the little bit of lipgloss is good for your age. im 15 and a freshman and i just started to wear eye makeup regularly. i would 14 or 15 is a good age to start wearing eye makeup often and 13 for just some mascara occasionally. i hope this helps

   My children are 5, 7 and 9 and i make them were make-up even if they dont want to its just so they look pretty

   The fifth-graders at my school do that too. I’m in sixth grade and no one is wearing that much, and their all very mature. They mostly just wear mascara and lipgloss. Those girls seem like they’re trying too hard. I personally think that an appropriate age for wearing makeup is when your in middle school, but it’s best if you start in high school.

   well i dont know what age 5th grade is (i live in nz) but it sounds like there 10?? i think the better age is 12+ because alot of girls at that age start feeling down on themselves and need something to make them feel better or like prettier but its really up to the wearer.

   Im 10 In 5th Grade And I Wear Mascara And EyeLiner
   But Just A Little Because You Don’t Want To Put On
   A Lot Or You Will Look Like You Want To Grow Up To Fast
   But I Don’t Put On Eye Shadow Or AnyThing Like That
   Just A Little Eye Liner
   And A Little Mascarara

   That’s so young to start wearing makeup. I started wearing makeup in like 7th; I think it’s the appropriate age, unless your mother thinks differently, but that’s really the average age. In 5th grade the most you should wear is lip gloss, you can start eyeliner and mascara when you think it’s the right time, but right now just isn’t this is the time to cherish your young skin before you start getting older and breaking out possibly and actually need the makeup to help ya. But try to not use anything as on your face until you really need to.

    Well im in 5th grade and half the girls there are wearing mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner and I think it is ridiculous.

    OMFG 8th grade?? I’m 100% sure that they didn’t start wearing that stuff until high school.

    From a guy’s perspective: Don’t wear it until you’re 16.

    I say 7th or 8th grade
    8th grade is when my mom let me wear eyeliner and mascara

    i started when i was 12 but it was just light eyeshadow and light lipgloss… i think 12 or 13 is a good age as long as its not too much makeup…as you get older you can add on things. i think you should start wearing eyeliner when your 13 and you can wear mascara at 12 but it has to be a very very light coat… wear a brown mascara its wayy more natural

    that’s crazy! don’t wear makeup; ur too young! i started wearing makeup in 7th grade. all i wore tho was lip gloss & eyeshadow. i started wearing eyeliner & mascara in 8th grade. it still looked ridiculous tho, cuz when u start, it can get bad! so just wait!

    already? they still have premature skin. it could give them wrinkles when their older if they don’t put it on right and don’t take it off at night. i say not until highschool because by then you would know how to take care of your face. makeup is used to enhance your beauty. your still young and you don’t need any beauty enhancing. lipgloss is good for now.
