What hair styles do most girls find cute?

Mar 10, 2009 Author: Style Chex | Filed under: Hair

I’m a guy, and I have long, black hair. I was just wondering if some girls find guys with long hair cute, what style should I make my hair of? Of course I won’t cut my hair. But should I put it up in a low ponytail? Or a braid with some of my hair hanging down on the sides of the front of my face? Should I just leave it down, and maybe put in some red or green highlights? Or white or blonde? Should I dye it a different colour? Please give me your suggestion.

What brand of washable hair dye will work on brown hair?

Feb 22, 2009 Author: Style Chex | Filed under: Hair

I have light brown - chesnut hair.

I want to get a purple washable hair dye that washes out with water. I heard that washable hair dyes only show up on bleach blonde hair.

Are there any brands that work on light brown hair?

Thanks.

How to make hair grow lengthy within a week?

Feb 22, 2009 Author: Style Chex | Filed under: Hair

My hair is short but dense which means to say the volume of hair is more. I want it to grow faster but my hair usually grows slow. The front hair i want to grow lengthy but it never does. So what should i apply or what should i do? Is there any particular shampoo or any oil to make hair grow lengthy? Just within a week. Thanks if anyone can resolve my problem.

What are good hair straightening sprays/shampoo to use on layered hair?

Feb 12, 2009 Author: Style Chex | Filed under: Hair

I recently got a haircut that is layered and found that after washing my hair it becomes really wavy/curly. I don’t want to spend every morning straightening my hair with an iron, so is there a hair straightening spray/gel I can put on that will straighten and keep hair straightened?

Also looking for any good shampoos that will also straighten hair.

What are some inexpensive hair products that will keep my hair healthy?

Feb 10, 2009 Author: Style Chex | Filed under: Hair

I have always had very healthy hair and I have only dyed it a few times. I now prefer to leave it at it’s natural color as dyes are not good for your hair. My main concern is that, while my hair is healthy, my sister’s hair is not and she has never dyed her hair. We are both looking for products that can promote healthy hair and keep out hair healthy. Does anyone know of any inexpensive products that do this?

I am dreading for a long hair. I cut my hair last summer to a graduated bob and had it trimmed just last month. It takes my hair forever to grow. I just want my long hair back because I miss it. Please help me. thanks!

——–> Hair <———-?

I am looking for a good hair straightener that won’t extremely damage my hair and will straighten well. I am currently using a cheap Durabrand one from WalMart and it makes my hair straight but really damages it and makes it frizzy. If anyone knows of a good hair straightener that I could get then that would be great :)

Ok.
So my hair is this very wavy almost curly hair.
And all i need tis the cheapest, junkiest curling iron to go to perfect ringlets.
When my hair gets longer, will it be curlier or straighter?
I heard that if your hair is curly naturally, it’s straight when it’s short (down to your shoulders)
So if my hair is wavy will is stay wavy?
or will it curl?

Japanese Hair Straightening

Nov 25, 2008 Author: darbytr | Filed under: Hair

While I did not see this episode, I can give you my experience with the Japanese Hair Straighten stuff. Based only on my personal experience, it does not work… I spent $300.00 to have my hair permanently straightened, the session also took like 3 or 4 hours to do, followed the directions I was given (don’t wash hair for 3 days so you don’t undo the chemical process) and still my hair wasn’t straight after I finally washed it. It was slightly less frizzy, but definently NOT straight. My suggestion is to invest in a CHI straightener (around $120.00) and use it whenever, or some other kind with ceramic plates. It is expensive but not as expensive as the chemical processing. Hope this helps.

I color my hair a dark auburn-red color that is quite attractive when the color is fresh and for a couple of weeks thereafter. When my brown and gray roots start becoming noticeable, however, it doesn’t look quite as hot. Moreover, because red hair color tends to fade more noticeably than other hair colors, I almost always have to freshen up my overall color (by spreading the dye around to the ends for the last 10 minutes) when I touch-up my roots.

I wish I could color every 3-4 weeks, but I’m afraid to color my hair more often than every 5-6 weeks. Is coloring hair more frequently than that damaging? How often can you safely color your hair?

What can you do about roots in the meantime? Can you rotate permanent with non-permanent dye? Are there any good products you can use to temporarily color roots? (I apply a tinted toner called "Stay Red" to visible roots after washing my hair, but it’s hard to apply. I wish they had a mascara-type applicator.)

Thanks for the tips!
